Montgomery County Excells at Regional Competition!

A grand total of 24 competitions placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at regional competition on the 6th. 4 competitions placed 1st, 14 placed 2nd, and 6 placed 3rd in their respective events.

Regional Competition begins March 6, 2014 for those schools in Region 5. Study hard for test and practice on your presentations.

Teens for Jeans

Tuesday January 21, 2014 is the last day to donate jean clothing to the Teens for Jeans collection. You can drop off any jeans to the Youth Service Center. Thanks to all who have contributed and made this program a sucess.

Special Educations Dinner

Community Service hours will be avaliable on Monday, December 16th at the Clay Community Center at 6pm. All who want to attend please contact Mrs. Whaley at allison.whaley@montgomery.kyschools.us!

Volunteer Hours

TK's Gymnastics is offering community service hours while helping kids on Christmas! Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 3:00 Tk's and others in the community  will be sorting toys by condition and value! Monday, December 23, 2013 at 5:00 is when the toys will be given away to those in need!

Toy Drive

The Montgomery County Toy Drive is going great as over 150 toys have been brought in already. Our expectations have been surpassed due to the generous students at Montgomery County. I do wish that you still bring in any toys that you have laying around as we bring joy to children on Christmas day!

Toy Drive

Continue to bring in Toys for the Toy Drive. For those who have already donated I greatly appreciate it. I know that it can be hard to find money, especially around Christmas, to give away.
I appreciate your donation and I'm sure the child who recieves it will as well. Please encourage others to give so that we may make this the best Christmas for the  Montgomery County children.

Chapter 5341 Club Day Meeting

At 2:30 Wednesday November 20, 2013 the students of MCHS will have club meeting. Please join FBLA as we go over very important information for the upcoming events. We will be addressing the Toyota trip for all paid members, Remind 101 set-ups, competitive events, Turkey Trot, Can Food Drive, Toy Drive, and other important information.

Turkey Trot

Montgomery County Turkey Trot will be hosted this Saturday November 23, 2013 10:00a.m-3:00p.m. With sponsors, runners will be running the Montgomery County Track in order to raise money for Ella's Outreach. Runners will have 30 minutes to run as many laps as they can complete in order to raise the maximum amount of money for Ella's Outreach. If you are interested in donating money please contact 859-498-1103.

Can Food Drive

Montgomery County FBLA Chapter 5341 has teamed up with Student Council to collect cans for the Can Food Drive which will be transported to Ella's Outreach for Thanksgiving. You can donate cans at the Montgomery County ATC or in the front office of the Montgomery County High School. Every Can Counts. We will be accepting donations through Friday November 22, 2013.

Montgomery County Toy Drive

Montgomery County FBLA Chapter 5341 is hosting a Toy Drive that is collecting toys for the children of Montgomery County. All toys will be donated to TK'S Annual Toy Drive in Mount Sterling. All toys donated need to be new and/or gently used. You can donated toys to the Montgomery County ATC building or in the front office of the High School. Help us, help those in need.
